We were having dinner at a restaurant at Ala Moana mall in Honolulu when I spotted a gecko climbing the wall next to our outdoor table. Since I was on the opposite side of the table, I asked my husband to take a picture with my camera so he gets the credit for these amazing shots!
At the first the gecko was on the wall, patiently waiting for the night breeze to sway the flowers closer. He then grabbed onto the flowers with his front legs (paws? hands?) while still clinging his bottom legs to the wall. Once he had a good grip, he flung all his body weight onto the flowers, which surprisingly did not droop at all.
Then he proceeded to drink his nightcap. . .
