My very first attempt at Fair Isle (stranded) knitting! I found a great pattern with ‘easy’ directions and great charts. I chose a dark green yarn for the base color and a green/yellow multi-color for the second color. It definitely is a heavier/thicker sock than using just a single fingering weight yarn and it took a bit of finagling to get used to knitting continental style with one hand and English with the other. Given to Grandma Lill for her 90th birthday!!
