Believe it or not, this is a bus stop! During our trip around Wellington and the surrounding areas we saw that the wooden bus stops were often colorfully decorated. This stop was painted in warm tones of reds, oranges and yellow and graced with loving hearts. Though not pictured here, painted on the middle of the bench seat was one word: LOVE.

For Christmas 2008, my husband and I decided to spend the holiday in New Zealand! We had always wanted to travel to NZ and we were able to meet our new godson for the first time during that trip.
We were walking around Queens Wharf in Wellington one evening when we saw this decorative boat lift next to a beautiful pool with blue lights. It was a pretty part of the wharf and I love how the blue lights compliment the blue night sky. My husband first took a similar picture with his camera (yes, we carry multiple cameras!) and this one is my version.
