Thank You Cable Blanket

For our destination wedding in Hawaii, we enlisted the aid of a wedding coordinator who helped plan the details and was present during the ceremony to make sure all went smoothly. As a thank you, I made her this blanket and sent it to her after the wedding. She loved it!

This was my first cable blanket and using bulky weight wool yarn made it knit up quickly. It’s made up of 5 separate panels that you later sew together. The final size turned out to be more of a lap blanket than an throw, so next time I’ll need to make the panels longer for a throw size. (completed September 2008)
