Deep Teal Single Cable Hoodie Sweater

cable detail and true color

Ah! I was able to finish one of the sweaters I have been working on before Christmas! It took about a week of focused attention to complete this one since I had never done a hoodie or raglan sleeves before.  The yarn is a deep teal heather which doesn’t photograph very well, but the first image does a decent job of capturing the hue.  The sweater was supposed to be worked in 4 parts, but since I love knitting in the round, I worked the body in the round until the raglan shaping, then did back/forth on the front and back. I did the same for the sleeves and really enjoyed not having too many seams to sew up at the end. Now, back to knitting socks . . . 🙂
